Policies

The Fox Salon wants to leave you with the best impression possible. We believe in having clear policies in addition to open and transparent communication with our clients. If you have any questions about these terms or about booking an appointment at The Fox Salon, please reach out to us.

Booking Policy

At The Fox Salon, we accept all major credit cards, including Apple Pay, as the only forms of acceptable payment. We do not accept cash, checks, or any other forms of payment at this time. Gratuity is accepted in cash form if you prefer.

Appointment and Credit Card Requirement:
To hold, schedule, and secure all appointments, a valid credit card securely stored on the client file is required. Payments made using other cards not stored are accepted.

Appointment Confirmation and Communication:
Once an appointment is booked, it is assumed to be confirmed. Our company sends communications regarding scheduled appointments as a courtesy. Please note that failure to receive these standard communications or reminders does not release the client from the responsibility of adhering to our confirmation and cancellation policies, including any applicable charges.

Booking and Cancellation Policies:
By booking an appointment with us, you acknowledge, accept, and agree to the terms of our booking and cancellation policies. These policies also authorize any fees incurred to be automatically charged using the stored credit card on the client file.

Cancellation Policy


To ensure smooth operations and provide quality service, we kindly ask for a MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You can easily cancel, modify, or reschedule your appointment by going on our booking website www.bookthefoxsalon.com anytime, day or night.

Cancellation Fees:
- Cancellations made within 48 HOURS of the appointment start time will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total scheduled services.
- Cancellations made within 1 HOUR of the appointment start time, or missed appointments (no shows), will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total scheduled services.

Please note that LATE ARRIVALS may result in partial or total service cancellations or changes. However, the minimum charge will be for the originally booked services.

All cancellation fees will be automatically charged to the credit card stored on file, unless an alternative credit card payment is provided at the time of cancellation.

Service Changes and Fees:
-
REMOVAL OR CHANGES to one or more scheduled services within 48 HOURS of the appointment start time will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the canceled service(s).
- REMOVAL OR CHANGES to one or more scheduled appointments within 1 hour of the appointment start time will result in a charge equal to 100% of the total canceled appointment or the original booked service total, unless adding an alternative service or extending the time exceeds the originally booked service total.

Phone hours

If you are running late, have an emergency or need to reach us, we are available via phone call or text 904-580-3697. Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. Saturday 9am-4pm. On Sundays and holidays the phone is turned off and texts will be returned next business day.

Adjustment Policy

At The Fox Salon, we strive to ensure that you love everything about your hair and your experience with us. If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with the service you received, we are here to address your concerns.

Refunds:
Please note that we do not issue refunds for services or products. However, we are more than happy to schedule an adjustment service with the same stylist who performed the original service at no additional cost to you.

Your hair is only guaranteed (insured) when you invest in the recommended shampoo and conditioner directly through The Fox Salon.


Notification and Timeframe:
In order to schedule an adjustment service, we kindly ask that you notify us of the issue via text or email within 72 HOURS and schedule an appointment within the next week (7 calendar days) of the original service. This allows us to promptly address your concerns and provide a solution.

Difference in Payment:
If you choose to schedule the adjustment service with a different stylist than the original stylist, please note that there may be a difference in payment due, at a minimum, if not the total cost of the service.

Disqualifications:

Guests enduring a color correction process.

Guests who have used box color in the last 2 years.

Guest whose desired goal requires multiple steps/visits.

Guests who adjust their own hair or have another artist adjust their hair.

Guests falling under these categories will have to pay for any adjustments at the rate of $70/hour.

*This will be outlined in The Fox Salon's Multi-Step Color Agreement and explained to you by your stylist.

Once your desired result is achieved your stylist will guarantee your hair.

Children

Due to lack of space, liability issues, timing delays, and safety hazards, children under 12 are not permitted to accompany parents to the salon. Services for children under 12 are not available at this time. Services for children over 12 are available with the service pricing being the same as adults.

Retail Exchange Policy


At The Fox Salon, we want you to be completely satisfied with your retail purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your in-salon retail purchase, we offer an exchange policy to ensure you find a product that better suits your beauty goals.

Exchange Period and Condition:
You may exchange your retail item within 14 days of the original purchase. Please note that we can only accept exchanges for products that are in new condition.

Exchanges and Service Costs:
Retail exchanges cannot be applied towards service costs or gratuity. The exchange is strictly applicable to retail items only.

Price Difference and Sales Tax:
If you wish to exchange your item for a product at a higher price point, you will be responsible for paying the difference in price and any applicable sales tax. We will gladly assist you in finding a suitable product within your desired price range.

Exchanges for Lower Priced Items:
In the event that you exchange your item for a product at a lower price point, the difference in price will be applied to your client account. This credit can be utilized for future retail purchases only.

Stylist Rescheduling Policy

In the event that your scheduled stylist is unavailable on the day of your appointment, we offer the following options for rescheduling:

a. Rescheduling with the same stylist: If your preferred stylist is unavailable, we will provide you with the next available appointment with that stylist. We understand the importance of maintaining a consistent relationship with your stylist and will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

b. Rescheduling with another stylist: If your preferred stylist is unavailable or if you are open to trying a different stylist within our salon, we will offer you the next available appointment with another stylist. All our stylists are highly skilled and trained to provide exceptional service, ensuring that you receive the same level of expertise and care.

Notification of stylist unavailability: Should your stylist become unavailable for your appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible. Our salon team will contact you via phone call, email, or text message to inform you of the situation and discuss available options for rescheduling.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our terms of service. Our goal is to provide you with exceptional service and ensure that your salon experience is enjoyable and convenient.
